    How we answer the statement “Unless you [fill in the blank] you cannot be saved” reveals everything about what we believe to be true about the gospel. The early church had to struggle through the answer to this statement as they were under serious pressure by groups of Jewish people who demanded that Christians become Jews in order to be saved. So how did the Apostles respond to this pressure? What did they instruct the church to do? What must any of us “do” to be saved?
