    Summary:

    There are a lot of things that Christians are passionate about these days: politics, social issues, apologetics, etc. And for some, whatever that particular passion is becomes the driving force behind their lives. While there’s nothing wrong with being passionate about certain things, especially things we believe we are doing for God, the danger comes when that passion blinds us to where our devotion should actually lie. And if we’re not careful, the very thing we believe we are doing for God can become the very thing that puts us in opposition to God.
